 The Terra Nova National Park is within walking distance, and is a wonderful place to enjoy scenery, fishing, hiking, swimming, boating and salt water kyaking. The park also features its own schedule of events
throughout the summer for the whole family to enjoy. There are boat tours, family evening events and nature shows staged in the amphitheatre.
 Just a short drive away are the well known Sandy Cove and Eastport beaches. The surrounding communities are rich in history and culture, and present many treats for the senses throughout the year. The Eastport Peninsula is home to unspoiled salt water beaches, as well as museums and heritage centers. Of course, the summer season is especially
interesting, as many communities have various events and festivals scheduled for the months of June, July and August.
